The House

Blue Cottage was built in 1784, and its uninterrupted view across the rolling Sussex countryside probably hasn’t changed much since then. Situated down a well-maintained rural lane it is both accessible and peaceful: no passing traffic, and no neighbours overlooking.

Constructed of brick and white-painted wooden boards, with a red-tiled roof and the cheery blue doors and window-frames that give it its name, it oozes all the charm of the historic local building style.

Inside, the house has been sensitively renovated to maintain its historic beauty and at the same time provide twenty-first century comfort. Original oak beams and working fireplaces remind you of the past, while broadband access, central heating and an up to the minute tv/dvd make sure you rest comfortably in the present.
